Spring has arrived, and with it comes a season of growth, colour, and renewal throughout our park! We are excited to share the latest updates and improvements that will make our shared spaces even more vibrant and welcoming this season.
Irrigation Upgrade – Starting Early September
A fresh burst of life is coming to Techno Avenue! The installation of a new irrigation system will begin in early September, ensuring our landscaped areas stay lush and thriving as the warm season unfolds.
Wood Chips for a Fresh Look
The chipping of dead wood and brush piles will take place in the first week of September. These wood chips will be spread throughout planted and pathway areas to:
Enhance the visual appeal of large open spaces, such as the spekboom beds along the main road and entrance.
Suppress weeds naturally and reduce maintenance needs.
New Plants Bringing Colour
Thanks to generous donations, new plants are continuously being added to the park. In early September, two open areas currently featuring vygies will be transformed with colourful flowering plants to bring even more vibrancy to the main road dual carriageway.
