Celebrating the Synergy of Imagination and Innovation

Our recent networking event, hosted at the Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography, was a vibrant celebration of creativity amplified by technology, a space where innovation and imagination met without compromising authenticity. Held on Thursday, 16 October 2025, the gathering brought together thought leaders, students, and creatives who share a passion for exploring how the digital age continues to reshape and elevate the creative process.

The highlight of the evening was an engaging panel discussion featuring industry heavyweight Jake Bester, Executive Creative Director at M&C Saatchi Abel; Wessie van der Westhuizen, Head of Multimedia Design Studies at Stellenbosch Academy; and Eryn Voigt, an Honours student at the Academy whose insights reflected the fresh, evolving perspective of emerging creatives. Their conversation bridged the gap between seasoned expertise and emerging talent, offering attendees a multifaceted view of how innovation and storytelling intersect in today’s creative industries.
